With Great Moustache Comes Great Opportunity
So, tomorrow I’ll be going to a casting call photo shoot at an advertising agency downtown to see if I can get my ‘stache featured in a television commercial for an internet company. Go figure. This is hardly what I expected when I started growing the handlebar last spring. Shout out to The Garden State Beard & Mustache Society for letting me know about the opportunity.

Looks like he might need a lil off the sides….. =)
Lost in the obvious, is the dude’s stellar moustache.
This is one of those truths that should be self evident….
So I pull into the parking lot at a corporate complex this afternoon and the security guy at the gate asks me for ID. I hand him my license, he takes a quick look at it, looks at me, and asks “Why’d you cut off your hair?” Huh??? Guess he didn’t notice the beard or the handlebar….
I had the privilege of attending IFC’s Whisker Wars press party at The Blind Barber in NYC last night. It was a helluva party with good food and drink and lots of inspiring beards and moustaches. Phil Olsen, Myk O’Connor, Jack Passion, Miletus, Alex Laroche, the Build-a-Beard folks, et al. were all there. Very cool. It was also a great forum for getting the word out about Count Justinian Moustache Wax. There aren’t many other informal gatherings with that much facial hair. Anyway, this pic is from the photo booth they had set up in the back. The other guy is my buddy and sideshow performer extraordinaire, Adam The First Real Man.
